Dolcetto d'Alba - Piedmont

A fabulous red from Casa Martelletti and
Italy's Piedmont region. Of the seven
Dolcetto DOCs in Piedmont, Alba is
considered the best and this wine is a
great ambassador for the region. The nose
is fragrant with licorice and almonds. It's
soft, round and fruity in the mouth.
There's a hint of sweetness, yet the
significant tannins are there to provide
this wine its structure.
