Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2003 - Tuscany

"Nobile" is a highly regarded wine, made from min. 70% Prugnolo and Cabernet, Merlot or others, in Montepulciano a town south-east of Siena and east of the more famous 'Montalcino'. It is generally a sublime wine, dark red in colour, intense, yet with a seductive smoothness on the palate, must have some oak and cannot be released for 2 years.

"Redi" Vino Nobile di Montepulciano has been established for 70 years and it has become the biggest winemaking reality in the Montepulciano district. They have won a large number of accolades over the decades. This year have won; Silver Medal with Vino Nobile, participated to the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, important International Wines Competition.

-2 Bicchieri (2 glasses) by the Italian Wine Guide "Gambero Rosso" mentioning both Nobile di Montepulciano and Rosso di Montepulciano.
